My A.R.T.S. Kids storyline coloring books
This is one area of My A.R.T.S. Kids that I am very excited about. I created three storyline characters that will be the mascots of My A.R.T.S. Kids. In 2006-2007 we were able to provide over 3000 coloring books to students throughout Walker and Jefferson Counties. The stories are:
Lizzy, a little girl who is very talented at dancing and singing who learns that these very talents provides confidence and discipline that helps her in all her other classes of education and that she will succeed and reach her dreams.
Follow-up stories will be about:
Marcus, a small boy who is very talented at dance and piano and who learns that these skills will provide him with the encouragement to work harder on his grades, become a better baseball player and help him reach his dreams to be an academic all-american.
Maria, a young Hispanic girl who has wonderful singing and art talents such as playing the painting and drawing. Maria learns that her gifts will help her improve her understanding of the English language and reaching her goal of being an entertainer on Broadway.
These stories are told in coloring book form and are used by My A.R.T.S. Kids in our classes.

Kids was able to provide $1,630.30 in individual scholarships to young in-need children who had a desire to participate some form of fine arts such as dance, music, drama, or voice. I want to thank all of our supporters who provided the financial assistance to support this cause.
